    went uot today with my freind earl found a merc dime almost right off the bat earl said it was a 1916 and it had a mint mark we could not see good enough till i got home wouldnt you know it its a s also found a large cent their is a hole so cannot tell the dat plus a wheatie and a few msc finds dennis

    Great finds Dennis! Have you ever wondered why people back then didn't center the hole above the head on the coin? They're just random most of the time.

    Sorry about the messed up &quot on your dime. I got that same one too. Only JTGOLD has done it right as far as i know.

    Dennis, I like your finds. It is rare to find a large cent. The Mercury dime is a great find. Let me know where you went to hunt. Hopefully we can get out together this week. BigJohn
