That SLQ is in pretty good shape considering it has no date. The one I got last month had a readable date but was more worn everywhere else. Go figure.

Date or no date, I'll take a Standing Liberty any day lol You did a lot of digging tooI wonder how may holes everyone has dug their entire detecting career? Silver and an old wheat is a good hunt JT.

on the SLQ. They are tough to find in this area but you seem have pretty good luck with them.
The SLQ design unfortunately puts the date on a raised portion of the quarter and wears out very quickly in circulation.Nice Haul JT, that match box car brings back memories and why don't any SLQ's have readable dates grrrr...

They aren't easy to find. That one isn't even worn that much other than the date. It must be an early one 1917-1924.
