Surprise seated and a nice bunch of silver for the week

Had a very good week on silver with an unexpected Seated Dime today. Been hunting a Ball field in a Park I've done in previous years and it has really been a surprise. earlier in the week I picked up a Washington, 8 Rosies several Wheats and even an Indian. Today was the big surprise as a unspectacular 12-42 signal turned out to be a REALLY wore 1876 Seated dime. the picture is poor but even a clearer picture probably would not of helped this coin as it is very wore. the back is almost smoth. I also hit another Washington and several more wheats. All in all it was an unexpected great week of hunting. Lot of area to hunt yet so hoping to hit a few more silver before the spot gets lean. Keep swinging Wisconsin Digger

WOW what a week! You were right ... you are on a roll with those rosies! I like any silver but the silver rosie is not nearly as nice as a merc! In my opinion anyways.

Congrats on the seated too! Very cool!

Great job, you are skilled! If you have not yet hunted the outfield area, this is generally the time of year to do it, often somewhat overlooked and so large that previous hunters miss a lot of stuff. But you probably already knew that!

The outfield has been very productive. I never hunted the field as it is well kept but I have found out as long as you avoid baseball season the area is OK to hunt. WD
