Both used 18650 Panasonic 3400mah cells, the SL is 14.8 volts and adds depth, the TDI I run at 18.5 volts which adds depth. Both detectors have no issues with added voltage as the SL was designed on the TDI circuit. And the TDI was rated at 21 volts. I also use a new protection board with balance function for both keeps cells equal adds to run time and battery life.All cells are welded together no soldering onto Li-Ion New chargers come with both for the new voltage.
