    "Amazing" finds fro last night

I did an evening hunt last night for about 5 hours at 4 different spots. It was not until the sun set that I found my first silver, 1944P war nik, and then 20 minutes later as I was walking back to the car I got a 1942 Washington. Thought for sure that I was going to go home with the silverless drive of shame.

Also pictured is an item that Digger O'Dell found something similar to a few weeks back. Mine has the head of a bird though.

Now that looks like a handle to a large incense brazier or coal lamp from the attachment studs. the eagle design is cool

Nice little handful of finds! That eagle handle will make a nice center piece for a display.
