    1655-1658 B Liard Louis XIV!!!

    Spent last night cleaning a few crusty coppers.... this little guy is starting to look a lot like a liard from 1655-1658.... My oldest copper to date is a 1720 KG1! little did i know i had a mid 1600's copper in my stash what a great feeling and find

    I would say that is a great discovery. Many years back when I detected with my Dad, he found what he thought was just a junk slug find. I washed it for quite a time to see it was an 1818 Large cent. Nothing to the age of your coin but the oldest American coin we had found(still have it in my Large cent collection today). great Hobby we have. Congrats on the great discovery.WD

    You got some really nice detail there! These are so old, and the dirt around here is so bad they never come out looking good...although you're not in NE... That's an exceptional find....a big congrats!!!
