    Twins and a fatty

I used about 4 hours of free time on Sunday to hunt an old favorite farm field. All I had the first 3.5 hours was an 1863 Indian and a bunch of buttons. Walking out, I found 2 New Jersey coppers within 15 minutes of each other. I've only ever dug 2 before, so to dig 2 in 15 minutes was surprising.

Two New Jersey coppers in one hunt is mind blowing!

It's a coin that rarely turns up, and to find two of them within 15 minutes of each other is incredible.

The 1863 Fatty is nothing to sneeze at either.

    Congrats on the amazing hunt!

Very cool! I thought that second copper was a MA cooper. Maybe that's because I'm still looking for a MA copper

I wish it was a MA copper, I have not dug one of those! NJ is the only one with the shield right?
