A Couple of Weekend Hunts with Noah & Hiluxyota

Saturday, I went out with Noah for a little door knocking. Our first house was an 1854 brick farm house. Unfortunately, we didn't find any coins there, but I did dig what I think is a bridle rosette. (Please correct me if I'm wrong).
The next house was an old school house that was converted into a rental home. There I dug 4 Indians, 1873,1895,1895 & 1896. and a 1920 merc. At the next couple of houses I dug a 1902 V and a 1941 merc.

Sunday, I went out with Tom (Hiluxyota)
We started out at another courthouse where I managed to find a 1935 Merc. After that we started door knocking.
The first house we hit was the "seated house" that we hit in Dec. & Jan. I previousy found 2 seated dimes there and Daddy Digger found one. Well, yesterday was no exception, I dug another one, an 1875. I also dug an 1892 Barber dime.
This is the third time that I dug a dime trifecta out of that yard and only needed a rosie for the grand slam. Once again, No Rosie!!
On the way home we stopped in another small town and hit one last house. After digging a newspaper token and a nice old flat button, I dug a sweet sounding 11-48 and pulled out a 1917 SLQ.
Needless to say, I had a great weekend!!!

AWESOME finds Don! I am amazed another seated came out of that yard! I think you are jinxed when it comes to grand slams! Were you wearing your detecting purse? What is the fob looking thing? Master Woodsmen of America maybe? I really like that thing too. Congrats on the 1873 IHC. I don't think I have that one yet. Great finds and HH, Dave.

The silver king strikes again!! Huge congrats on another seated coin Don. Boy, the folks living at that house must have been quite well off back then to lose all that silver. Love the SLQ as well, an older date nonetheless.
