About 6 years ago they tore down a 1910 house about a mile away from me. I detected it then and only found a silver Rosie and a bunch of wheats. They turned half the lot into a parking area for the adjacent business and the other half was untouched. So I decided to return and see what I missed. I guess the date is Aug 21, 1917. The oldest wheat is 1939 and I liked the patina on the Canadian penny so I included it in the photo. Also found a 1965 rabies tag, an old lipstick case and a key. Last photo is after I cleaned up the buckle with a baking soda paste.
