I found this on one of my outings to my copper hole.
I think that it is part of a weather vane but waiting to hear other opinions.
It is made out of cast iron and I put a penny in for size reference.
Looks to me like a cow leg????

I suppose a weather vane is a possibility, Al.
Could it be part of a cast iron toy horse? They were very popular back in the day.

Thanks for the thoughts. I do own 4 animal drawn cast iron toys and I took some pics. I put my leg in for a size reference and my leg is way to big.
Thoughts???

I looked at several pages of cast iron weather vanes and your leg could have come from a horse, cow or pig. They are all very similar.
My wife does all the driving, I just hold the steering wheel!

I guess you have a leg up on us, LOL! Weather vane is a good possibility but I wonder due to the size/weight if they were made that thick/heavy.
