These are most likely livery buttons but I saw one very similar that was being called a coast guard button. If they are indeed livery buttons why would they have an arm and sword? Maybe family crest? Thanks!

Thanks so much guys!!I guess its a "fashion button." Oddly, my buttons arms and swords face the opposite way. Waterbury Button is now in Cheshire lol.
