dumb question, under what circumstances would you dig a minus signal
dumb question, under what circumstances would you dig a minus signal
If it wasn't for flashbacks, i would have no memory at all
Minus signals,,, If you are on older property, dig the minus if you are interested in relics. I see no reason to dig minus at newer parks or yards unless you have reason to think something was buried as compared to recent loss. I don't think an old coffee can full of coins will read out as plus.
Very good information! Thanks

thanks for the replies as i hunt a spot here in MA that was the muster area between BOSTON and PLYMOUTH.I was thinking i might be missing something very interesting by purposely digging minus signals on this site.I'm gonna give it a try one of these days.

any of the following reasons will make me check out some minus vdi's lots of emi in an area , if the ground is very mineralized , the target is a deep one and there is iron present and also if the minus vdi has a consistant tone and reading.

I've heard that small gold can be hiding at small negative numbers. I found a 10kring (very thin) that bounced between 2 and 4 with my MXT.
