    1850'S POCKET SPILL!

Hooked up with gary (foundation hunter) for the day at a cellar hole.
Got a iffy but good signal but kinda chattery near the stone wall.
dug in and first coin that popped out was a 1854 half dime! MY 1st 1/2 DIME ever dug!
checked the hole..a nail.checked again..another nail..checked again a 1851 large cent! then a 1852 3 cent silver.scanned again another nail, and another nail.one more sweep..a 1864 2 cent piece! 4 square nails and 4 coins! you can see the rust on the back of the 1/2 dime at 12 o'clock position.
then on the trail out i bagged a 1917-D merc.
    a real good day!
the 3 cent silver has a crack kinda bummed about that crying01
gary found 2 flying eagle pennies and a nice shoe buckle frame.
    OH! AND ANOTHER OX-KNOB!!!!

Sweet pocket spill, Dave! The half-dime is beautiful! It's too bad about the crack on the three-cent piece. It's still a great find though. thumbsup01

Holy cow, any one of those coins would be the find of the year for me, especially the half dime or three center! Congrats!
