Great, but can you be more specific? Did you dig these, and if so, where? Is there a story? The photo is nice, but you said nothing about how it came to be.

Nice. All of that silver looks great.

So that's what buffalo nickels are suppose to look like. lol

At the current silver price... that's gotta be at least $50 worth. <:

    Looks like it was fun.

Sometimes the planted hunts are fun. You got a lot of silver and had a change of pace. Is that an average amount everyone got, or did you smoke them? lol Hopefully you made you entry fee back (If there was any). Gotta swing and dig quick lol

Just in melt value alone I made my fee back and more. I think it was more fun just getting together with other detectors and having some fun. This club was a 100 miles away from me and I only know a couple of others from my area that made the trip, but the other strangers wernt strangers after about the first 5 minutes. We all had something in common and we were welcomed just like we lived there. Cant get any better than that !!!!

Re: OK Morning at the Coin Shoot

We have our club hunt in May here on Long Island. Its usually a beach seeded hunt. Lots of Silver coins, gold and silver jewelry, clad and 4 gold coins. Also planted are 40 brass numbered tokens. Each token recieves a prize. The prizes are at least worth the entry fee. Every year our local whites dealer donates 2 detectors for 2 of the prizes. This past hunt one person found 2 tokens and his numbers ended up winning BOTH detectors! An M6 and a 6T. He sold the M6 on the spot to another member for $500. We have about 80 members in our club.
Having fun is what it is all about!
