Today the wife and I went to our favorite woods. It was very cold, low 30's, and we didn't get out until about 3:00. But 2 hours of cold hunting til dark is better than nothing.
She gave me a Tesoro Vaquero for Christmas and I have been itching to get it out in this woods.
We went to an area where we have had good luck in the past with multiple silver and wheaties and it wasn't too long before my wife came over to me with a big grin on her face. I said something like, "yes: the look on your face, I bet you found a half.
And I was right!
Congrats to the wifey for getting her first half and a Walker at that!
As soon as she left to go back to her spot, I got a good signal and dug a silver Rosie!
At the end of the 2 hour hunt, I had 2 Rosies and a 42 Washington quarter along with one wheatie. The wife found 8 wheaties to go along with the half.
She has really been burning it up lately with her Cutlass II. I am glad I have the Vaquero so I can keep up!
