Very sweet find Tana! I bet your heart skipped several beats. lol Congrats!
lol I love your enthusiasm Tim- you're so funny... Hope we get to hunt together again sometime!
Now you DO realize this pile of jewelry is from the whole year of 2010 George?
I WISH that was from just one or two hunts!
Well, for those of you who came back to my thread lol here's the pic Missy forwarded of the place I found my Walker.... in the distance is the little shed and where the house was. I'm kneeling where the front yard used to be.
It's odd that we didn't find one single other coin in that whole area. Three of us hunting for about 2 hrs! Will have to try again
Thanks for looking and all the great thumbs up! Can you tell I'm still flying high from finding this one lol

Last winter I was disappointed to find the ground frozen like concrete too -right after finding an excellent signal I couldn't get to! :bangahead01: I had to go back after it thawed to find a deep clad quarter.... I have a lesche now and it slices through frozen ground better than any other diggers...

The Walking Liberty is a such a nice coin design, one of my favorites. I found one last summer in the woods at about 5 inches. Nothing like finding big silver, congrats on a great find
