    Record breaking in silver coins

Meet with Rob and Fred this morning at the drained lake and detected for about 4 hours. Today I broke my previous silver coin record in one day (7) and today got 11 silver coins, 10 wheat's, silver ring, silver foreign coin made into pendant and about $3 in clad with some other different finds. Silver coins are 39,54d,56d Washington quarters, 36,43d,44d Merc's and 46,47d,48d,56d,63d Rosie's. Next weekend I will be there again . Thanks for looking and best of luck to all. HH Mike

Nice and you get to do it all over again next week lol Look at all that silver. Love the way the water turns the silver different colors sometimes. Way to go. Congrats on breaking your old silver record too!! |)

Drained lake? That must be some prime hunting ground. Congrats on an awesome silver day.

    Thanks everyone,
That lake is huge and we just hunted small part by the boat house so it will keep me busy for long time. Anyone who would be interested in weekend hunt at that place can let me know and we could organize big group hunt. I don't mind sharing it with other friendly members. Best of luck to all. HH Mike

Man Mike I would love to get in on that hunt let me know where and when. PS thanks for making it available to your detecting buddies, that is quite nice and noble of you. I have just a paltry six silvers for the year and im digging clad all day long it seems. I thought I would have some better luck after I returned the 10kt HS class ring I found a couple of months ago but no luck yet. Oh well six is better than none. Thanks again, Ricky.
