Out on Saturday and noticed I was digging a 12-45 at 5 inches down and turned out to be a penny. Normal?? Oh, snagged a large cent in TTF which hit around 1-30. Very happy about that.

Don't feel bad. It happens to me all the time. I hunt one park that has stinkin lincolns down to 5 and 6 inches and they ring up as 12-45's. It forces me to dig them because I can never be sure if it's a penny or a merc!
