Went out today hoping to find new ground. Found a very nice looking park but looks to have been pounded pretty good with plenty of current sign it still is getting hunted. Only managed 1 wheat at plenty of gas money. Spent some time visiting relatives and hit an old school I hunted last week. Was heading back to my car with a handful of more gas money. When I got to the car I headed up a little embankment and got a fairly shallow signal that was bouncing a round between 44 on up to 46. Figuring on another memorial I dug a shallow plug and started jabbing around. I saw a coin and picked it up and my stomach jumped a bit as it looked to clean to be just a dime. Again, not being careful I rubbed it off and seen what looked like the back of an old Canadian coin, wrong again. Coin turned out to be a pretty nice looking 6 pence from 1857 Queen Victoria. You just never know what's coming out of the whole. great end to the day. Keep digging Wisconsin Digger
