1895 Milwaukee, Wi. Semi - Centennial Souvenir metal

We didn't get a chance to get out much this weekend, but we were able to get permission at one old house. We didn't find any coins, but did dig a pretty cool 1895 Milwaukee, Wi. Semi-Centennial Souvenir medal. It was about 10" down and I almost put it in the scrap pouch because it appeared smooth on both sides. Alec told me to clean it with some water because of its shape. Once the detail appeared and I saw what it was I was glad I didn't scrap it. I re-scanned the hole, still had a signal and then found the top part that said souvenir. Some times the things we find are better than coins.
