July 11th finds from the same spot I found my last barber

It's a spot behind the smoke shop that I buy my tobacco and smoke stuff from, well I was out of lighter fluid so I decided to kill two birds with one stone this morning and brought my metal detector along too. I didn't find any old coins today but I found a really cool old medallion and yes there really is a Kalamazoo

Wow, that 1897 Street Fair medallion is AWESOME, Larry!

What an incredible find, and it cleaned up brilliantly too! Not only does it have the year, but it has the month and days of the event as well. Great piece!

Beautiful piece Now all you have to do is find out what street that street fair was on. You know there will be plenty of Indians, V's and Barbers lost there.

Not positive but it looks like some sort of a finial, I ended up destroying it cause there was something rattling around in it and come to find out it was a piece that had broken from something else and fallen inside, it's in with the scrap now
