Found this at an old home site. Not sure how old the house is being it has no plaque ,but I think its mid 1800's because its in the federal style with outside dental moldings. I'm no expert on these things but anyway. Any idea what this is? It measures roughly 2 1/2 X 2

I found this today at a 1700's sit only 1 deep. Oh why couldn't it have been in good shape.

I found this rather deep at the 1700's site. It is made of lead and hollow. It measures 1 1/2 X 3/4. My first thought was a fishing weight but the hole seems to large tone such and I don't think they invented the slip type sinker that far back.

Found a clipped reale today. Hit at 37 VDI on the spectra V3I at 4 I'm now wondering if its real considering it hit low on the VDI scale. 37 is more like pewter,but then again Lee found a silver chain that read the same so I really don't know.

No matter what post I click on between every reply I am seeing a cropped section of the gold and jade chain that is pictured in the scrolling banner of finds. Weird.
