I found a seated lasted night!

Thank you Bucknut! It's been awhile since I have found a seated coin, and I can't wait to find one! Unfortunately, here in MN there are some fairly tight laws on metal detecting. That $5 bill was pure gravy

    New Software Migration

Thank you! I'm so glad to hear that! We are still tweaking a lot of things, but I am happy with the progress so far. I'm really looking forward to seeing your future finds! I'm living vicariously through posts of others' finds so far, but I'm planning to get out there very soon.

    New Software Migration

Thanks Dan and Tony! I'm glad that it still has that home feel, Dan. I'm still making a lot of appearance changes and functional tweaks, and it should continue to keep improving.

This is a beautiful find! This really inspires me to get out and start digging again. This will be one of the first new additions to the banner!

    New Software Migration

Thanks Tony! Did you post the thread before or after the forum was updated? If it was before, that was my fault -- I didn't think there had been any new posts/threads posted between the time we took the last data 'save' and the update. I'm sorry about that!

    New Software Migration

We just migrated our forum software over from an old version of vbulletin to the newest version of Xenforo. After dealing with some minor issues (thanks to Chris -- they were quickly resolved!), we seem to be up and running. Hopefully this should resolve many or most of the functionality issues...

Hi Everyone, I received a message through the American Detectorist main web page asking if anyone can help to identify this coin. more snow

Hmmm. I used to laugh and joke about this too Steve. (I still do sometimes) However, I have learned something. I was born and raised in Iowa so I know snow. However, after living here in the south (Kentucky) for the last 7+ years, I have a new appreciation for two inches of freezing rain...
