  • Here are two that I own. I had shoulder surgery about three years ago. Before that I could not swing a detector for years with out the Docs Swing thingy. I purchased the Minelab harness for when Im swining a very large coil. The Minelab harness is easier to use but cost more. I would purchase the Pro-Swing through a local Minelab dealer or try Big Boy Hobbies, he is a good guy.
The Swing Thingy can be purchased here. http://www.docsdetecting.com

hope this helps. Where are you retired from? I'm hoping to retire in 1.5 years I'll have 30 years in at that time. Good luck and happy hunting.

I'm a retired firefighter who just started detecting about 6 months ago and have been enjoying the hobby greatly. My question is to those with more experience than myself I recently cashed in my clad coin and added a gift certificate from Whites and purchased a coin pro detector for my wife to use so that we could enjoy the hobby together. Our problem is my wife had major surgery to her right shoulder last year and she still has issues with it when she tried detecting. Is there a harness that would work well with her coinpro.
