    .30-06 Cartridge Clip

    I dug an interesting find on Saturday. A clip of .30-06 ammo blanks. I found a single one as well about 100 yards from where I found the clip. From the single cartridge they were made in Denver in 1943.

    Copper Rod Chunk

    Thanks for all the responses. I've been searching the internet to find out what it is with no luck. I cleaned it up a bit, and added a new pic. The ends have definitely been snipped by a a blacksmith snipping tool. Andrew

    Copper Rod Chunk

    I found this in the woods of Alexandria, VA, about 10 feet from where I found a very old horse shoe. Its a big hunk of copper rod about 1 inch thick and approx 8" long (very heavy).     Old Horse Shoe

    I found this old horse shoe in the woods of Alexandria, VA, in the Mount Vernon area. Lot of Colonial and Civil War history to the area. The front is worn thin, and thick on the ends. Lots of rust. Any idea of age? Thanks Andrew
