Got out this evening for about an hour and went to an old house that has only produced one flat button. I'm glad I didn't give up! It's kinda crusty but is soaking in olive oil as we speak!
Here are a couple of more pictures of that bullet. It's more of the size of maybe a .58 caliber? I'm not that knowledgeable on bullets and don't have a way to measure it yet.
