This is a ring I found in a construction zone last month. I couldn't get it entered for the month because it was getting repaired by our local jeweler.

A few of us went to Durand, WI. to hunt a tear out. We found a few things but got chased away by a thunderstorm so we returned to a park in Eau Claire. A park that I have never been to. I guess it pays off to go to a new place. I come away with this 10k gold ring with a Ruby and a pearl.

I found this coin in another tear put that will be starting in July. They are working on the boulevards now.

Our club had a training day at the Augusta, WI. Lions Club Park. We got permission to have our metal detector training day at this park. Club members did pot luck for dinner and then went out and learned about detectors. We had 18 people attend. We plan to have another training session in August.

This is just some of the stuff I pulled out of one street. I ended up with 4 V Nickels, 12 Indianheads, a bunch of Wheats 4 rings, and a bunch of other artifacts and relics.

I added one more machine to my arsenal of detectors bringing my total to 11 machines. I took my new V3i out a couple of times and love it.

I hit a road construction behind my lock shop and came up with these two goodies. Never thought I would pull out a 58 cal mini ball and the 12 ga brass shotgun shell.

Marty Fankhauser and I got out on Sunday at Irvine Park. Marty come into a Barber Coin Spill and a Buffalo Nickel all out of the same hole.

My nephew called me the other day and asked if I could help in locating a ring another family member of his had lost in the snow in his back yard during the last snow storm we had. I fired up my Whites Eagle II SL 90 and I was able to locate the ring in 19 min.
