So I found this at a civil war site in Georgia. It's lead, and I'm almost positive it a pounded/carved Minie ball that a soldier from the 103rd Ohio regiment f company made. They were involved in the area where I found it.

So I found this mystery brass item at a civil war site and the thing that made me curious to what it is, is it appears to have a large caliber bullet hole to it. So I lugged it several miles with the hope that one of y'all might know what it is?

I need help in identifying these items. They each appear to be lead and i found each of the items at known civil war sites.

Does anyone have any ideas of what this could be? I found it in a field where I have found civil war bullets as well as farming tools.

Found this at a civil war site and am wondering what kind of bullet it could be, smashed round ball, 20 slug, carved bullet?

Found this 8 in down. Brass and pretty heavy. Though it might be a ramrod end but I can't find any that match it. Any thoughts or ideas. <br />
