Nasty site gives up a copper

This is a cellar hole site I've been hunting for 12 years. It used to be wide open with plenty of room to swing a coil but now you can be standing 2 feet from it and not see it. I somehow managed to pull an 1827 Matron and a nice stick pin right from that tangled mess. The Matron was on edge.


Found my first barrel tap last week! After a good soak with WD40, the valve still turns. Those nickel plated buckles sure sound nice when you put you coil over them.

That's a sharp looking Matron! Any idea on the age of the stick pin? That is a neat find also.
