still amazed at the weather here in iowa , mostly soft ground except in the shaded areas , today i got a nice 1871 indian ,,,,,,

amazing , hunting in iowa on jan 6th , ground in some areas is still soft , otheres are digable with a little effort , today i got a nice 1943 merc, 1st silver coin of the year , and 3 wheats ,2-1919s and a 1926

Jan. 5th . still some digable ground , didnt find much , 2 wheats and a nice little silver medal, ill take it for jan 5th . tommarow maybe a day to get out too, in the 50s.

Ground was soft in most places today , had a great day , surprized me , i got a 1963d quarter , 1945s merc, 1887 indian, 1909 wheat and another wheat and some clad , might get out a few more times out here in iowa.

Met Joe for a cold hunt today , we just had to get out once more , hit an old park , just some clad , but it was a good time , till next year Joe , had my best year , 117 silvers , 20 indian heads , lots of wheats including some 1st ones for me , Morgan (1882) half dime 1858, seated quarter...

This might be one of the last days out this year , suppose to turn cold and snow in store for next week , hopefully not , but .....today i got a 1887 indian and a 1892 indian, There were photos here ? Just added em back ....

Found a 1902 indian and a 1920 wheat in the same hole today, pretty crusty one .
