Does anyone know what this is? :confused: I found it at the two houses i've been hunting which date back to the 1850's or so. It doesn't open up very far and it's about the size of a quarter. Thanks Donna

Hi everyone, made it back up to the two houses I was hunting and got a couple more keepers-1948 rosie-1912 v nickel (no mint mark) I think its the best shaped one I got so far,1936 buffalo nickel,1936 wheat, 1941 nickel and some misc.stuff. ;) Happy hunting everyone! Donna
