Turns out the quarter in the lower right was silver! When cleaning it up it looked like it might have been a 1939, not totally sure and it's even harder to tell now. Might have rubbed it too much!:shocked03:

I keep finding these at the coastal salt beach's and was wondering if anyone has any idea what they are? They look to me like melted alum of some kind. At first I thought they might be cans thrown into a beach fire that melted but the one on the left weighs more than a can would. Any ideas?
