Got out between raindrops today. Got a great clean signal at a cellar hole. pulled out a 1847 largie. Checked and still had a signal, pulled out a 1848. Checked again and still had a signal, pulled out an 1857 upper canada bank half cent token!
I also found this monstrosity. It is an old dairy scale for weighing milk. The face is solid brass. I cleaned and treated the insides for rust. Then I repurposed it for this candle holder in our dining room window.
I finally got to go back to the farm permission and look what it gave up!
The rest of the big crotal bell, a 1959d rosie, a 1878 seated dime, and a 1808 draped bust half cent!
Had a great morning at a cellar hole.
1894 two cent piece, 1865 1hp, 1867 ihp, 1858 flying eagle.
Plus a nice floral button and this horse rosette/tack buckle thing.
The snow finally melted enough so I could hit my local park.
1897 barber dime,1908 barber dime, 1907 indian, two dateless buffalo nicks and a religious medallion.
It was an awesome night!
