    3 coppers, one hole.

    Got out between raindrops today. Got a great clean signal at a cellar hole. pulled out a 1847 largie. Checked and still had a signal, pulled out a 1848. Checked again and still had a signal, pulled out an 1857 upper canada bank half cent token!

    pelouze dairy scale

    I also found this monstrosity. It is an old dairy scale for weighing milk. The face is solid brass. I cleaned and treated the insides for rust. Then I repurposed it for this candle holder in our dining room window.

    A few more keepers today

    A tombac button and a 1837 Hard times token. Smiths clock establishment. The token is holed.

    Tiny crotal

    Finally stopped raining long enough so I could get out for awhile. Found a few keepers. The watch is patented 1902. The tiny crotal is my favorite!

    Alfalfa field gives up the goods.

    I finally got to go back to the farm permission and look what it gave up! The rest of the big crotal bell, a 1959d rosie, a 1878 seated dime, and a 1808 draped bust half cent!

    One hunt, two bucket listers

    Had a great morning at a cellar hole. 1894 two cent piece, 1865 1hp, 1867 ihp, 1858 flying eagle. Plus a nice floral button and this horse rosette/tack buckle thing.

    Local park quickie pays off!

    The snow finally melted enough so I could hit my local park. 1897 barber dime,1908 barber dime, 1907 indian, two dateless buffalo nicks and a religious medallion. It was an awesome night!:yes:
