Hi, all, been out detecting quite a few times in this spring like winter. Found the usual silver coins, indian heads, v nickels, etc. But, Angel said people would like to see these 2 pieces. A King George III copper 1775 and a civil war button - Massachusetts Artillery. Hope you enjoy the pics.

    VX3 is HERE!

VX3 just arrived. lol  Air tested it in the house. Nice & Smooth operation. Guess White's did tweak the programs. It seems to ID a target better and deeper than the V3i. I'm impressed. PM me if interested for pricing. John

Last week V3i hunt barbers, 1838 O seated more

Past weeks hunt with the V3i yielded 2 Barber dimes, 2 Seated dimes 1877 and 1838 O. 5 Indian heads, 6 Buffalos, Silver Ring, Silver Earring, Silver Nickel and a cruddy round ball of lead. All finds were beyond the 7 inch mark. I think I should turn the sensitivity down, as it's too much work to...

V3i loves the Indians Nov 28 Finds

Arms are still sore :stretcher: from digging, but Sunday was such a nice day, had to get out for a few hours. I tried to keep myself from digging the deep targets, but that's what it's all about. I was a DFX user for a few years and never dug nearly as many old, deep coins as I have with the...

last weekends hunt Indians Barbers More

The week sure went by fast. Here's my finds from Nov. 21, 22. The V3i :smitten: is too powerful. I've never dug such deep holes in all my detecting years. My arms are so sore I can barely type. :stretcher: I think I'll ignore the deep signals and only pick up the surface clad. Totals - 9 Indian...

    V3i nets more silver, Indians

Spent 4 hours with the V3i at at local park. Temps were in the low 40's with a wind up to 20 mph. I wish the coppers would come out of the ground better. But, in the condition they do, it's into the junk bucket for them. Total for the hunt was 3 Indians, 1 Shield Nickel, 1 Buffalo, 1892 Barber...

    Saturday Indians, 2 Cent, Silver

Took a break from beach hunting to hit an old trashy, cleaned out lol park Saturday with the V3i. 5 hours hunting only yielded some clad, 5 Indians, the best being an 1873, 2 Buffalos, 2 Two Cent pieces 1864 and 1868 and a Merc 1917-S. The park was quite busy, so I had to field questions from...

    cold Halloween Silver

It was a cold day 48 degrees with wind gusting to 30 mph. Now that the water is too cold, I find myself with the need to fill the holes in my coin albums. I had a 3 hour hunt with the V3i at a park I hit previously. The indians and nickels come out of this place in really bad shape, but I dig...

    Sunday Hunt Indians Silver V3i

As many of you may know, I don't usually hunt parks. I'm mainly a water hunter. But, thought I'd share my park finds from Sunday. This was a 3 hour hunt. The weather was a little brisk for the water! I went to a park that Angel and I had hunted a couple times. The ground is very difficult - lots...

Hot Fathers Day Hunt Seated Indians

It was really hot and humid yesterday. Wasn't planning to go out, but I spoke with Angel and he got the adreniline going. I waited til 6:30 PM and went to a park shaded by trees, hunted til 8 PM. Still sweating though. The V3i update still amazes me. Dug about a buck in clad, a spoon handle...

V3i last few finds Large Cents, Indians, etc.

Hi, all, I don't usually post much, but Angel has been after me to show what the V3i has been finding on my last few hunts. I didn't take a pic of the clad and other stuff as it fills a quart zip lock bag. I had the V3 for a couple months or so, but wasn't too impressed at the depth I was...
