Got a chance to do a quick hunt in my grandparents yard. Found a 43 nickel, a 1930 wheat penny, and a wheat penny which I can't make out the date. It was a 8 plus inches! I really love the DFX!

Was out for a short hunt today found my first ring a 1/100 10k gold ring. I believe it is gold plated I also found 6 wheat pennies 2 1940's,2 1949's, a 1948. and a 1951. I also found a old german metal car at a old farmhouse.

How bad does a coil have to be scratched or dinged up to effect performance? just wondering my dfx has a few scratches on it.
