    Silver knee buckle

Found this solid silver knee buckle today along with a tomback ? button at an early 1700's place. There was also an exciting Spanish silver found there ....but I will let the finder tell that story. I just added another photo of it after cleaning.

    Old silver ring

Found today at 1700's house, inside stamp says "coin", Any idea of age ? Mangoave told me that after 1868 they started stamping the numbers in them.

Never found one of these before.

I found this at a 1700's house. Lee said that he thought it was a counter stamped farthing because of the size. Slightly larger than a nickel.

Tell me if I am right

I found this a while back, and at first I thought it was the eraser end of a pencil, so I threw it in the junk pile, but after looking at it again.....I think it may be a tag from a tagged bird's leg.

Better photos of my ct. copper and also found an 1832 cent

I got a couple of better photos of the copper that I posted the other day, and found an 1832 cent the next day, and also a lead soldier in the yard of an 1700's home. Is it the rare copper ? and also, why would the 1832 cent have notches on the rim ?

    A couple of finds

The silver button was found when the guys from Illinois were here. The fork and spoon came from the same wooded area. Check out the design on the spoon, not seen that one before, any guess on age ?
