    ID help please.

I found this last night at a very old property. It looks like a tool of sorts, with a indentation for a thumb and a small hook cutout on the bottom. Very heavy with a dark brown patina. Any idea what it may be? There are no sharp edges anywhere. Thanks in advance for your replies.

    A couple of hunts.

Back to the old 1868 house yesterday. Very tough hunting but I was able to dig this Buff. Date is worn, but I can see a "9" in what appears to be the last position. Additionally, I dug a 1958 Canadian Silver Dime out of an old School yard. It's not that old, but I'll take it!

    Hello from frozen Michigan.

Looks like a great group here, been Detecting for about a year and am having withdrawls now that Winter has raised it's ugly head. I am eager to learn all I can, thanks!
