well, I got up to warmer temps this morning, 22*, and headed back to the beach-of course. Changed to the 4x6 shooter coil because of all the iron targets and first target-10k ring, my first ring of 2012!!...don't know why I didn't change coils before, thought about it but didn't, found a seated...

in spite of the fact that it was 15*!!! After church this morning I headed to the beach and yes, it was 15*!! I bundled up real good and headed out. At first my hands (due to arthritis) were so painful from the cold (yes, had gloves on) and I was in tears and about to give up, I convinced myself...

I finally found my first ever seated half dime, yay!! and two days later, a second one with two holes! the second one was so rust encrusted it almost ended up in the 'trash' but I thought I would take a chance and clean it and see what I found and surprise!!!

after dropping Ileen off at work I headed to one of the local schools only to find that they were having a community clean up day at the school so I had to leave... stopped at the beach then on my way home and found some clad, 48 cents, the usual tabs and caps and then.....ring # 2!!!!....gold...
