The farm is still producing old brass

I hit the farm again today and found a few more pieces. It was nice having the field down enough to get in there. The wheaty is a 1917. The old slide bolt looks like it was hand made. The other brass looks like it was either a handle or a foot.

    Watch case?

As some of you may know, I`ve been water detecting a lot this summer. Well last weekend I pulled this thing out of the water. It`s caked with sand inside and I don`t know how to open it without breaking it. Any ideas what it was. It looks to date back to 1885. Thanks for looking and stay cool.

    Can this LC be saved?

I went out water detecting again yesterday where I`ve found 5 silver so far. This time out I dug out this L.C. It`s been soaking in olive oil. Is that the right thing to do? And being that it came out of the water, can it be saved? What else can I do?
