Update: My gold streak ended at 5 consecutive hunts, the last ( fifth hunt ) produced a double gold. My sixth hunt was a bust but the 7th produced a nice 1971, 10K school ring and a Barber half. Thanks for looking

Three consecutive hunts finding gold. 3 are 14K and the oldie is 10K. The three hunts were all at different places and if you notice the pics of my finds for each hunt, they're not many, BUT, gold was there. In the last pic there are 14 diamonds in the channel. Thanks for looking.

Had my first triple gold day on Monday, zip on Tuesday and a fatty yesterday in a spot that has been gold free the last seven hunts there.

....one was the right color. This 14K Oldie made for a rewarding trip. Very similar to one I found last year. I'm told that this was a very popular style in the 40s and 50s.

I went back to the gold fields only to find the covered with about 3' of sand and waves big enough to surf on. I went up the road only to find the same conditions. I checked out another beach on the way home and seen some rocky areas, ( not many ) but thought I'd give it a try after the hour...

Many feel this is a very old ring...sure hope they're right. Found in an area with a lot of old history.

I found this while water detecting at the beach yesterday and thought it was junk and didn't bother posting it on any of the sites. After looking it over I could tell something was inside so I started digging the muck out and found the pearl, pink stone, and whatever the tan stone is inside...

With Labor Day behind us, spots that were closed are now open. This wasn't a new drop and down a good scoop and a half in very hard digging. The spot was loaded with junk and I was using my DF but unfortunately my Excalibur never would have hit this one. IMHO

The best of it..... A 3 1/2 hour hunt produced the 4.82g , 18k (750) wedding band, a silver ring and a peso. Don't know what it's doing up here in Connecticut. lol

Been keeping a low profile but thought I'd share a 10.81g, 14K with tiny diamonds in the cross I found today . Also found a 925 silver wedding band that I thought was 10K but as the saying goes, all that glitters is not gold >:{.
