First gold ring - 6/18

I haven't been out since my New Hampshire trip 2 weeks ago, so detecting is on the list the next couple days too.
Was supposed to hook up with a friend, but he was a no-show. With part of the day wasted I decided to try a park I've been wanting to hit. It's near where I had to be later in the day too.

It's a big park, and has been used for agriculture in the past, so I poked around for the hour or so I had to spare. Dug a lot of usual park junk, managed a 1916D Wheatie, a whatisit item, and my 1'st gold! A men's 14K wedding band with initials, and another bit engraved that I'm holding back since I'm attempting to track down the owner.

Somewhere between 200 and 300 I'm guessing Dan. Only had to dig 6 yesterday.

I put an ad up on Craigslist, but not sure where to go after that. The town it was found in doesn't have a real FB page. Thanks all!

That is a beautiful pic of that ring!! Excellent find :shocked04:
You have 5 different types of pull tabs there! I bet they are everywhere at parks.
Good luck with finding the owner of that ring!

Big :congrats:on getting that GOLD ring and I hope you are successful in finding the owner. If you have a date try the local newspaper for any weddings that happened on that day.
