I posted a thread about something very similar, but I think they agreed mine was a woodchuck...which I also didn't know clime trees. I saw a raccoon once climb straight up a tall tree like a squirrel.
I guess every animal around here can clime.

For the record Drew , regarding yours I was leaning toward Chupacabra
