11 gr. of silver and an Indian head to boot.

Went to a spot in town I have been hunting and after an hour of clad I finally hit a piece of silver. It looks like a very old military ring that would have had either some kind of stone, or unit emblem but has long since been lost. Shortly after I got a very deep signal and it turned out to be my first indian head for 2010, an 1895 in real good shape. The wife found a fob or medal from Carboloy 50 year anniversary. The rest was just clad but I had fun with the injun and silver ring. The ring weighed in at 11gr.

Nice digs... I dug a very similar ring in a tot lot last year, though yours looks much heavier and the eagle is facing the other way...

Sweet ring. I looks like a nice Onyx cabochon would fit there perfectly, like the one in Z's picture. A very heavy looking ring. The Indian is in real nice condition, definetly XF at least. Great hunt. Fobs are always a good find and display well. Some older ones are even worth a copule of bucks.
