1790 & 1843 in Ky.

Went back to Moscow , Ky. the last few days and had a good time , my kind of land the River Bottom fields and old home places . And any one knows about buttons , I need some more help on the 2nd. button . So here it is , 14 flat buttons with one ball button the 3 in the middle have the Eagle on top of them , old hook with U.S. on it , bullets two .44 cal. sharps look like never found one of these , 1843 large cent , 1790 spanish coin looks like he has horns on his head , the 2nd. brass comb I have found this year , old shot gun shells stuck together or was , and part of old spoon if I can get it on here . I think the Spanish coin is a King Charles IV half reale.

In 1789, Charles III died and his son, Charles IV succeeded him. Both the Carolus IIII and Carolus IV varieties exist for the Mexico City mint. The portrait of Charles the III was used with the legend Carolus IV for about a year in 1789 and 1790 following the death of Charles III. In 1790 the legend was changed to Carolus IIII.

Hidy C. Its been here a long time , its not far from the Misp. River . I have found lots of coins from the Civil War here . Four spanish coins 1813 , 1807 , 1806 , & 1790 . Camp Desha ( CSA ) was here .

nice coins! the buttons are late 1700's - early 1800's.the ones with the cone shapes on back are tombac buttons colonial era.nice job!

Thanks Heavy , I knew I could count on you and Del. We dont find but very few buttons like that unless I find one of the first old house places around here . What about the button with STAND on the bottom , ant no way I can say the word at the top of it . But found another today a little smaller . and another with F.H.C. on it , along with another flat button . Thanks agin heavey .
