1832

Met up with Navy Davy for coffee at Tim's. and left with two recent issues of Western and Eastern Treasure mags while all ND got was my schedule for the next few months. He was tied up for the day so off I went solo. Started with a ball field but the cold wind drove me into the woods. Was about minus 10 degrees cel. At one time the cold would never bother me but those days are gone! My F3p doesn't like the cold neither so the Pro was the machine of choice for the day. Hit a wheatie then three 1832 Nova Scotia thistle tokens in one hole. Mind you they are a tad toasty. Had a seniors moment when I found the brooch.thought it was real................right!

I just googled those thistle tokens and the 1 penny variety had only 200k of them made! The half penny variety from 1832 had 800k made. Both are fairly low mintages and you found 3 of them!

I found a 1840 Nova Scotia half penny token here in Wisconsin last but mine came out of the ground in really nice condition but still an awesome find Leslie! Congrats
