1924 indoor rifle range medal

From the land of the Bluenose.....continuing with older rare type finds before I started posting on the net, this medal was dug many moons ago in a local park with my trusty Freedom 3 Plus. I have my suspicions that a shaved down silver dollar was used as it matches the size almost to a tee!


Knee coming along with less pain each day. Got to get back a digging. Have a great day all. <

That's a wonderful item, Les! I suspect you may be correct about it being a silver dollar originally. It almost has a hollowed out look to it. I love the designs on both sides! What a unique piece of history! Love it!
