1st hunt of 2012

Jan. 5th . still some digable ground , didnt find much , 2 wheats and a nice little silver medal, ill take it for jan 5th . tommarow maybe a day to get out too, in the 50s.

the last few days around here have been a little cold ground is a little hard but i did manage to dig up a couple wheats and tokens but you had to chip them out hopefully it stays warmer good luck dennis
 
Nice Silver medal Dave. I believe you have a combination Scapular Medal, Sacred Heart Of Jesus on one side, and an &quot:daydream:ur Lady on the other. I love finding old Catholic medals. I have several now. Very happy to see you found some dig-able ground... It's scarce these frosty Winter days. Thanks for sharing the hunt.
 
Just getting out on January 5th in Iowa is the prize Dave. :clapping:
Checked my backyard this afternoon and the digger really struggled to get in a quarter inch. crying01

But with more warm weather and sunny days in the forecast... ya never know. :dontknow:
