Decided this morning to go out and swing the coil. Have not been out in a while and I desperately needed this hunt.
Decided to go to a park here in town and right off the bat I get a merc...sweet. I was concentrating in this one particular area (where I got my last merc during my last hunt) and was on my second pass and bam....another merc. Now this is unusual for me to get two silvers with no Wheaties. Finally I get a wheat and not 1 foot from that bam....a rosie. Continued on and on the next pass bam...another merc. I ended the day with a wheat. So 4 silvers and only 2 wheats.
Merc's ended up being 1939s, 1943d, 1944 and the rosie was 1946
thanks for reading and HH everybody.
PS Rob, this was the park where you, Tim and I last hunted and all the silvers were found on the hill where we said our goodbyes.
