.30-06 Cartridge Clip

I dug an interesting find on Saturday. A clip of .30-06 ammo blanks.
I found a single one as well about 100 yards from where I found the clip.
From the single cartridge they were made in Denver in 1943.

I was in a wooded area of Alexandria, VA off a road that is part of the Rochambeau trail.

pretty unusual find in many ways , Schatzle . we also have a Rochambeau trail up in these parts . have you found anything close to period from it yet ??

Pretty wild! I've dug up a few live rounds, including shotgun rounds & man I'd hate to hit the primer with my shovel when digging it up.
