34 silvers in the same hole

While hunting an old ball park a good while back I found all 34 of these dimes in the same hole. You may not believe it but I actually got tired of digging out dimes in that muddy hole. I bet I got up and down after running my MD. over that same hole 30 times or more. Its nice to find that many but gosh spread them out a little, hard on my old legs. The 1909 Quarter was right on the edge of the hole a few inches. They must have been lost in 64 cause the 64s are like new. Thanks for looking.

Howdy Pardner!
What a wonderful glory hole you found there amigo!
As for getting up and down over and over for 30 reps, I'd recommend getting yourself a pinpointer.
That way you down on your knees once, and use your probe to find anything still in the hold rather
than stand back up to use your detector. After that particular experience, I think you'll agree that
all that getting up and down is powerful hard on the musculoskeletal system.

Hey, I'd take 30 silvers in the same hole any old day. Even at 23 degrees with a 12 mph wind!

That's one fantastic find pardner. Way to go on an excellent hunt.
Keep cracking the sod!

Blessings,
M-Taliesin

Almost sounds like a buried cache. :clapping: I bet someone hid it and maybe couldn't locate it the next time around. Who knows, it could have been hidden next to a big tree that was later removed. lol Either way it's a super find. Tired or not I would have kept digging too

The way some were laying I think it must have been part of a roll of dimes, or I left some one.

That makes a lot of sense, especially since the dates are mostly '64's What a neat find  Probably also the reason no one saw it in the grass. They used to have them dark green coin rolls. It would have blended instantly.

Neat find CWN ,,, With melt being around $2.50 per dime that was a great score.. :happydance01: :happydance01: :happydance01:
